Of Oxford, Arkansas

Norene Webb Everett, daughter of the late James Webb and Nancy Jones Webb, was born May 4, 1923 in Wideman, Arkansas. She departed this life October 30, 2020 in Salem, Arkansas at the age of 97 years, 5 months and 26 days. She was united in marriage to Hurbelee "Hub" Everett January 26, 1946 in Sage, Arkansas and together they raised six children. Norene spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, homemaker and friend. When her children were in school, she worked at Oxford School as a cook, retiring after 10 years of employment. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church. While living in Melbourne, she attended Midway Baptist Church.

She is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law: Connie and Debbie Everett, Curren and Velna Everett, Dennis and Pam Everett all of Union and Kenny Everett of Little Rock; two daughters and two sons-in-law: Gwen and Gery Lawrence of Melbourne and Jill and Kim Yancey of Wideman; fifteen grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend and caretaker: Minnie Dutton of Melbourne; two sisters-in-law: Marie Webb of Kansas City, Missouri and Peggy Everett of El Paso, Arkansas and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; eight siblings: Raymond Webb, Rayburn Webb, Gordon Webb, Wayne Webb, Jewel Webb, Doris Webb, Ersie Gilbert, Tressie Garner.

Graveside funeral service will be Monday, November 2, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Union Cemetery with Gene Baird officiating. Musical selections by Phillip Steed.

Pallbearers: Connie Everett, Curren Everett, Dennis Everett, Kenny Everett, Gery Lawrence, Kim Yancey.

The family requests that CDC Covid-19 Guidelines are followed during the graveside service.
