Muriel Marie Gaude Connelly

of Melbourne, Arkansas

Muriel Marie Glaude Connelly, daughter of the late Emile Glaude and Prima Beaudion Glaude, was born December 26, 1931 in Willimantic, Connecticut.  She departed this life December 15, 2025 at her home in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 93.  Muriel spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.  Most of her working years were spent at Eastern State Connecticut University, employed at the copy center.  She was united in marriage to Frank Joseph Connelly, II July 9, 1977 in Willimantic, Connecticut.  She was of the Catholic faith and a member of St Mary's Catholic Church in Mountain View.

Muriel is survived by three daughters:  Sandi Bidwell and husband Dave of Ellington, Connecticut, Cheryl Roberts and Ed Webber of Edward, North Carolina and Donna Winn of Woonsocket, Rhode Island; one stepson:  Christopher Connelly of Vernon, Connecticut; two brothers; two sisters; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; seven siblings and one son:  Norman "Skip" Roberts.

Her daughters will be having a private memorial service at a later date.
