Mondalyn Pearl Caldwell McCormack

Of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Mondalyn Pearl Caldwell McCormack, daughter of the late Zearl Hutson and Ersie Drown Hutson, was born May 29, 1927 in Pineville, Arkansas.  Mondalyn was united in marriage to Gale Caldwell October 6, 1948 and together they raised a daughter.  After Gale's death in 1971, Mondalyn was married to J. B. McCormack May 11, 2007 until his death in 2011.  Mondalyn spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and friend.  She had a long career in banking.  Mondalyn retired from First National Bank of Izard County after thirty-eight years of employment.  She was a past member of American Bankers Association Women in Banking and Calico Rock Chamber of Commerce.  Mondalyn was community minded and volunteered with Hospice, and White River Healthcare. She was a past member of the Board at Izard County Community Medical Center and was a hospital volunteer for twenty-seven years.  Mondalyn was of the Presbyterian faith and a long-time member of Calico Rock Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by one daughter:  Monty Gilbreath of Violet Hill; two grandchildren:  Heather Shands and husband John of Evening Shade and Jonathan Gilbreath and wife Heather of Violet Hill; two grandchildren:  Tinlee Gilbreath and Trenton Gilbreath and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; two brothers:  Cecil Hutson and James Hutson; one sister:  Merle Grove and one son-in-law:  Rick Gilbreath.

Graveside funeral service will be Tuesday, September 6 at 10:00 a.m. at Roselawn Cemetery in Calico Rock with Victor Jones officiating under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.

Pallbearers:  Kenny Hutson, Glendon Everett, Jessie Whiteaker, Lance Whiteaker, Randy Webb and Howard Jeffery.
