Michael Wayne Washington, son of the late Joe and Evelyn Sue Jones Washington, was born March 28, 1962 in Calico Rock, Arkansas.  He departed this life September 13, 2024 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at Hospice of the Ozarks at the age of 62 years, 5 months and 16 days.

He was a heavy machine operator for many years, traveling from state to state working on the pipelines.  He became disabled in 2020 to which he struggled with dialysis the past four and a half years.  He enjoyed talking to his buddies on the CB and fishing on the White River.

Michael is survived by his sister:  Susan Hamby of Wideman; one nephew:  Rusty (Missy) Hollenbach of Wideman; one niece:  Kayla Hamby of Wideman; one great nephew Kade Yancey of Wideman and a host of other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother:  Tommy Washington.

No memorial service is planned at this time.
