Michael Gary "Cubby" Lasco

Of Melbourne, Arkansas

Michael Gary Lasco, son of the late Russell E. Lasco, Sr. and Adeline V Tonk Lasco, was born June 17, 1950 in Libertyville, Illinois.  He departed this life February 17, 2023 at his home in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 72 years and 8 months.  Cubby spent his life as a loving son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend.  He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  He retired from Abbott Laboratories after 35 + years of employment.  He was known to be a hard worker with a strong work ethic.  He loved all sports, especially golf and bowling.  He was a fan of the Chicago Cubs and Bears.  He loved all animals, especially cats.

He is survived by one sister:  Linda Boutwell and husband George of Lake City, Florida; one brother:  Russ Lasco, Jr. of Missouri;  two nephews:  Alex Boutwell and Matt Boutwell both of Jacksonville, Florida and Douglas Windahl of Round Lake, Illinois and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one niece:  Dawn M. Boutwell; one sister:  Dorothy Al Windahl and husband Alan and three brothers: James E. Lasco, William R. Lasco and Gary A. Lasco.

No memorial service has been planned at this time.
