Michael Wayne Downing

Of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas

Michael Wayne Downing born March, 16, 1945 to parents John C. and "Zille" (Bearden) Downing as the youngest of eight children moved to God's Kingdom on November 16, 2023. He lived a good life as a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and minister.

He is survived by is wife of fifty-nine years, Jean Downing, his children, Carla Smith, John (Lisa) Downing, Michelle (Billy) Jarrett, son-in-law Chris Brown, thirteen grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, six siblings, his daughter Kelly Brown and granddaughter Tiffany Callahan.

Memorial service will be Tuesday, November 21 at 2:00 p.m. at Howard Memorial Funeral Chapel in Melbourne with Joe Jackson officiating.
