Melinda Ann James Thrush

Of Melbourne, Arkansas

Melinda Ann James Thrush, daughter of Ben James, Sr. and the late Dorothy Vincent James, was born December 6, 1977 in Flint, Michigan.  She departed this life January 11, 2021 in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 43 years, 1 month and 5 days.  She was united in marriage to Frank Fitzgerald Thrush I, on May 18, 2001 and to this union two children were born.  Melinda was a very loving daughter, sister, mother, wife and friend.  She was very devoted to caring for her loved ones.  She had a servant's heart and worked as a caregiver at the Easy K Ranch for over 14 years serving individuals with special needs.   She was of the Baptist faith.

Melinda is survived by her husband of 19 years:  Frank Thrush, I; two children:  Frank Thrush, II and Zoey Annmarie Thrush all of Melbourne; her father:  Ben James, Sr. of Flint, Michigan; one brother: Ben James, Jr. of Harrison, Michigan and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  She was preceded in death by her mother and her grandparents.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Cremation arrangements were made through Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
