Maxine Eddy age 75 formerly of Melbourne, passed from this life at Woodlawn Nursing Home in Batesville on Wednesday May 30, 2018. She was born on September 21, 1942 in the Gid Community to Troy and Icephine (Brooks) Shaver.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Her husband, Carl Raymond Eddy, 4 Brothers, Donnie, Troy Gene, Morris and Carl Reed, and 3 Sisters, Diane Ring, Ernestine Shaver and Betty Bangs.

She is survived by 1 sister, Rose Parmer and Carl of Cave City, 3 sons, Jeff & Rita Eddy of Sidney, Bobby Eddy of Cave City, Jason Eddy of Las Vegas, Nevada, 4 Grandchildren, Brooke Branscum and Donnie of Bethesda, Lyndsay Eddy of Little Rock, Kayci Eddy of Sidney and Gracie Eddy of Sidney and 2 Great Grandchildren, Tanner Branscum of Bethesda and Tallie Branscum also of Bethesda. She is also survived by a host of other family and Friends. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Arrangements will be handled by Eddie's Funeral Home in Melbourne and will be a Graveside Service only, Sunday, June 3, 2018 at 3pm at Pine Grove (Reeves) Cemetery on the Guion Rd. Bro. Elvis Sneathern will be officiating.

Pallbearers are Paul Shaver, Randy Ring, Deriek Bangs, Dustin Bangs, L.P. Shaver and Brandon Route. Honorary Pallbearers are Leon Brooks, Tim Brooks, Jacob Cline and Donnie Branscum.
