Mary Louise Wilson Zerby, daughter of the late Ira Reebe Wilson and Nellie Louise Brown Wilson, was born on March 21, 1948, in Richlands, Virginia. She fell asleep in death on July 9, 2026, in Calico Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 78.

On June 28, 1969, she married Paul Zerby, and together they welcomed two sons. Mary spent her working years caring for others as a nurse. On July 8, 1977, she was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved studying the Bible and faithfully followed Jesus’ example, sharing the good news of God’s Kingdom with others throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Zerby; her son, Frank William Zerby; and her brothers, Ira Wilson Jr. and Edward Wilson. She is survived by her son, Jon Paul Zerby; her brothers, Robert “Jack” Wilson and Michael Wilson; her sister, Joyce Ann Wilson Stevenson; and many beloved friends.

Mary’s friends extend heartfelt appreciation to the Calico Rock Hospital staff for the compassionate care they provided during her final months, as well as to Legacy Hospice and the White River Health Care nursing home for their kindness and support during her final days.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 15th at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Melbourne, Arkansas.

Friends and family who cannot be present are welcome to join the service by Zoom.
