Mary Evelyn Crider Morris

Of Oxford, Arkansas

Mary Evelyn Crider Morris, daughter of the late James Walter Crider and Nellie Mae Wilson Crider, was born August 12, 1944 in Tempe, Arizona. She departed this life August 17, 2022 in Oxford, Arkansas at the age of 78 years and 5 days. She was united in marriage to Lindsey Boyd Morris August 30, 1958 and together they raised seven children. She spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, homemaker and friend. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Mary is survived by one son: Marshall Morris and his wife Pam of Oxford; five daughters: Nellie Mae Masters of Salem, Mary Evelyn Glascock and husband Steve of Jefferson City, Missouri, Annie Morris of Oxford, Dolly Morris of Midland, Texas, and Sarah Vaile and husband Rodney of Oxford; one brother Rubin Crider and his wife Evelyn of Oxford; 20 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; one son Lindsey James "Buddy" Morris; five brothers:  Walter, Thad, Jessie, Claude and Morris Crider; three sisters:  Annie Mae Hall, Martha Ann Morris, Hazel Mae Sewell.

Graveside funeral service will be Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Owens Cemetery in Brockwell, Arkansas with Ron Helm officiating under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.

Pallbearers:  Marshall Morris, Josh Morris, Sam Crider, Logan Crider, William Morris and Joe Searcy.

Honorary Pallbearers:  Thad Crider, Paul Crider, Jimmy Crider, J. D. Crider, Charles Crider and Richard Crider.
