Mary Charlene White Holden

Of Springdale, Arkansas

Mary Charlene White Holden, daughter of the late Charles Roy White and Elsie Ann Whiteaker White, was born July 8, 1948 in Calico Rock, Arkansas. She departed this life May 2, 2020 in Springdale, Arkansas at the age of 71 years, 9 months and 24 days. She was united in marriage to Paul Edward Holden February 23, 1968 and together they raised two children. While living in Calico Rock, she was employed by Baxter Lab in Mountain Home, retiring after fifteen years of employment. She and Paul moved to the Springdale area where she worked for many years as office manager for Dr. Donnie Holden. Mary spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife mother, grandmother, homemaker and friend. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Cross Church in Springdale.

Mary is survived by one daughter: Shana Holden-May of Springdale; two grandsons: Clinton Charles Edward Holden and Christopher Brock May both of Springdale; one sister: Mildred Corine White Self and husband Clayton of Sun City, Arizona; one brother-in-law: Retired Colonel Donnie J. Holden, M.D. and wife Shawna J. Holden of Springdale; one sister-in-law: Treda White of Choctaw, Oklahoma and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 49 years: Paul Edward Holden; one son: Dale Edward Holden; three brothers: Hays White, Charles White and Paul White and one sister: Norma Seay.

Graveside funeral service will be Friday, May 8 at 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with Wade Moser officiating. Under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
