Mary Anne Phillips Evans, daughter of the late John and Mary Phillips, was born October 23, 1935 in Massillion, Ohio. She departed this life on November 10,2021 at her home in Evening Shade, Arkansas at the age of 86 years and 18 days. She was married to Neal Evans and together they raised 10 children. Mary was a homemaker and spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by two sons: Thad Evans of Melbourne and Franz Evans of Evening Shade; two daughters: Flavia Bryan of Dickinson, Texas and Alida Evans; two brothers: Chuck Phillips and Terry Phillips both of Ohio; one sister: Marge Phillips also of Ohio; twenty-one grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five sons: Thomas, Leo, Allen, Terence and Gerald Evans; one daughter: Marita West.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne, Arkansas. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Eddie's Funeral Home Chapel in Melbourne. Burial at the Evans Family Cemetery.
