Martha Nash

Feb 1, 1949 — Feb 17, 2025
Martha Ann Nash Tanner
Of Wiseman, Arkansas
Martha Ann Nash Tanner, daughter of the late Harvey Nash and Edith Berryhill Nash, was born February 1, 1949 in Benton, Arkansas. She departed this life February 17, 2025 at the age of 76. After high school Martha attended beauty school in Little Rock. Martha spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. She was united in marriage to Lindell Tanner December 29, 1989. Most of her working years were spent as a beautician in Horseshoe Bend and Franklin. She also did hair for the area nursing homes and funeral homes. Martha also worked many years as a nurses' aide at Fulton County Hospital where her favorite position was in the nursery taking care of babies, two of her own grandchildren. Her greatest joy and pride were her kids, grands and great grands. She made sure they knew they were deeply loved by her and that Jesus loved them even more. She believed that God sees all and knows all. She gave much for her family, friends, neighbors. When there was a need, sometimes even if there wasn't a need, she gave, without hesitation, expecting nothing in return. She left behind a legacy of the purest form of love, a mother's love. To her children and grandchildren, she was the one who cannot be replaced.
Martha is survived by her husband of 35 years: Lindell Tanner of the home; three daughters: Andrea Michelle Meeker and husband Clint of Imboden, Amy Rachelle Love and husband Blake of Viola, Wanda Ranae Harper of Wiseman; one stepson: Adam Tanner and wife Phyllis of Wiseman; two brothers: John Nash (Chris) of Oregon, Joe Nash (Tammy) of Avilla; two sisters: Susan Nash (Jimmy Bearden)of Little Rock, Loretta Edington (Randy) of Fayetteville; seven grandchildren: Maddlyn Barnett (Justin), Ashyln Meeker, Christian Meeker, Blaine Norris (Hannah), Peyton Love, Jordyn Payne, Jayde Payne, three step grandchildren : Olivia StClair (Larry), Chloe Tanner, Emma Tanner; four great grandchildren: Zari Barnett, Harlin Barnett, Caleb Barnett, Kailynn Norris and a host of other relatives and many good friends.
