Martha Sue Harrelson Kizzia

Of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Martha Sue Harrelson Kizzia, daughter of the late Edward Deleon Harrelson and Temora Ballard Harrelson, was born October 6, 1925. She departed this life June 8, 2020 at the age of 94 years, 8 months and 2 days. She was united in marriage to Emmit Elbert Kizzia August 4, 1948 and to this union, three children were born. Sue spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, homemaker and friend. During her working years, she worked as a Teacher and she was the entrepreneur of Calico Corral Clothing Store in Calico Rock. She was a member of Calico Rock First Baptist Church.

Sue is survived by one daughter: Martha Alice Kizzia of Mountain Home and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years: Emmit Elbert Kizzia; two children: Suzanne Kizzia and Emmit Elbert "Chip" Kizzia, Jr; two brothers and two sisters.

Visitation and funeral service will be held Thursday, June 11 at Calico Rock First Baptist Church with Kevin Bishop officiating. Visitation will be from 1 – 2 p.m. The funeral service begins at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
