Margaret Ann Jackson Catalani

Of Melbourne, Arkansas

Margaret Ann Jackson Catalani, daughter of the late Leslie Merel Jackson and Charline Rose Hess Jackson, was born September 12, 1943 in Memphis, Tennessee.  She departed this life January 10, 2024 at her home in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 80 years, 3 months and 29 days.  She was united in marriage to Carlo Joseph Catalani November 14, 1962 in Memphis, Tennessee and together they raised two sons.  Margaret spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.  Most of her working years were spent being a homemaker, although she did work at First Tennessee Bank for some time.  After she and Carlo retired to Twin Creek, they became active in the Ruthie Mountain Fire Department. Margaret was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by two sons:  Michael Catalani and wife Kristi of Twin Creek and David Catalani of Olive Branch, Mississippi; six grandchildren:  Leslie Bates, Emily Catalani, Taylor Park, Sara Rhea, Knox Cleveland, Kirk Cleveland; three great grandchildren:  Kali Cleveland, Penelope Rhea and Jack Rhea and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother:  Charles Jackson.

Visitation and funeral service will be Friday, January 19 at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m.  Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Ron Helm officiating.  Burial will follow at Combs Cemetery.
