Mable Virginia Holland Dunn

Of Melbourne, Arkansas

Mable Virginia Holland Dunn, daughter of the late George Holland and Artie Dema Terry Holland, was born March 21, 1938 in Dermott, Arkansas.  She departed this life November 10, 2020 in Melbourne, Arkansas at age 82, surrounded by her family.  On July 2, 1961 she was united in marriage to Joe Garland Dunn and together they lovingly raised three children, Joe Jr, Dorinda and Jeff.  Mable spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and a true friend to all. She was a homemaker, licensed beautician, taught nursing classes at a technical school, and worked for 25 years at Color Tile Manufacturing in Melbourne.  Mable was a devout Christian and a member of Midway Baptist Church in Melbourne. She lived life with faith, love, compassion and hope in a spirit of humbleness that endeared her to so many.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Julie Dunn of Horseshoe Bend;  one daughter and son-in-law, Dorinda and Rick Miller of Dexter, Missouri;  six grandchildren, Jacob Miller, Sarah Miller, Jenna Dunn, Jonah Dunn, Harlie Loftus and Ashlee Colvey;  a host of nieces, nephews, their families and one sister, Marlene Bailey Moody. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joe, one son Joe Jr, one brother Orland Holland, and one sister, Reba Box.

Graveside funeral service will be Monday, November 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Dermott Cemetery in Dermott, Arkansas with David Jennings officiating.  Arrangements by Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
