Lynn Eugene Young

Of Oxford, Arkansas

Lynn Eugene Young, son of the late Wayne Young and Leola Mae Loosey Young, was born November 28 1961 in Calico Rock, Arkansas.  He departed this life June 27, 2026 at his home in Oxford, Arkansas at the age of 64.  He spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, uncle, husband, father, grandfather, provider and friend.  Most of his working years were spent as a logger.

He is survived by his wife:   Rebecca Wray Young of the home; three sons:  Gabriel Farvour, Ryan Farvour, Brett James Tunnicliff; one daughter:  Brigett Young; two sisters:  Elsie Lynch (Benny), Shirley Sutterfield (Matthew); grandchildren:  Jensen Farvour, Mary Farvour, Jack Roberts, Levi Robers and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded by his parents; his wife:  Ruby Loosey; two brothers:  David Young, Steve Young; two sisters:  Erma Billingsley, Verafay Sutterfield.

Graveside funeral service will be, July 1, 2026 at Galatia Cemetery with Ron Helm officiating.
