Luke Jeffrey Sanders

Luke Jeffrey Sanders, son of Gabriel Sanders and Julie Blundell Sanders, was born November 1, 2000.  He departed this life September 7, 2024 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 23 years.  Luke was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle and friend. Luke enjoyed music, guns, spending time on the water. Above all, he cherished his family and friends that he considered family as well. Luke attended Calico Rock High School where he enjoyed participating in sports and was introduced to many lifelong friends. At the time of his death, Luke was self-employed as a carpenter and painter, and was known for his diligence and attention to detail.

He is survived by: his parents, Gabe and Julie Sanders of Calico Rock; two sisters, Olivia Sanders of Calico Rock and Anna Sanders of Cotter; two nieces, Kyndal Sanders and Brynleigh Peifer; his paternal grandparents, Jeff and Sharon Sanders of Calico Rock; his paternal grandmother, Peggy Pauly of Nevada; his maternal grandparents, Glen and Paula Blundell of Calico Rock and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Jeff Pauly.

Visitation and funeral service will be Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at The Brand New Church in Calico Rock.  Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 5:00 p.m. Officiating Pastor:  Shaye Fountain.
