Louise Tatum Taylor
Of Melbourne, Arkansas
Louise Tatum Taylor, daughter of the late Winefred Leon Tatum and Bettie Koonce Tatum, was born December 7, 1949 in Dallas, Texas. She departed this life December 5, 2022 in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 72 years, 11 months and 26 days. She was united in marriage to Darrell Franklin Taylor February 20, 1973 in Ardmore, Oklahoma and together they raised two sons. Louise spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, homemaker and friend. She was of the Assembly of God faith.
Louise is survived by two sons: Johnny Franklin Taylor and Scott Franklin Taylor both of Melbourne; one brother: Johnny Tatum and wife Judy of Tennessee; one sister: Vicky Winkle and husband Charles of Mountain View; one granddaughter: Caitlyn Jade Riley of Mountain View; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Susan Schultze and Cheryl McClure.
Visitation and funeral service will be Sunday, December 11 at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne with Jesse McDaniel officiating. Visitation will be 12-2 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Barren Fork Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Paul Greenway, Jay Clifft, Nathan Hammond, Josh Pittman, Marc Hall and Michael Winkle.
