Loretta June Adcock, daughter of the late Adam and Gertrude Manley Starkweather, was born September 19, 1947 in Muscatine, Iowa. She departed this life February 29, 2020 at her home in Wideman, Arkansas at the age of 72 years, 5 months and 10 days. Loretta spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. She was employed by Baxter Lab Corporation in Mountain Home, Arkansas, retiring after 20 years of employment. She was of the Baptist faith.
Loretta is survived by five children: Dwight Adcock and wife Jennifer of Sherman, Texas, Michelle Ford and husband Chris of Mount Pleasant, Brittany Ellison and husband Carl of Gainesville, Missouri, Chalene Stapleton and husband Jim of Wideman and Linn Adcock of Mountain Home; four siblings: Betty Kathleen Frisbee of Fruitland, Iowa, Mary Mathias of Muscatine, Iowa, Linda Brockert of Muscatine, Iowa, Joyce Mathias and husband Bob of Tamms, Illinois; twenty grandchildren: Adam Yancey, Kayla Yancey, David Yancey, Kortney Adcock, Aimee Adcock, Hayley Adcock, Mariah Wilhelm (Markus), Zach Adcock, John Ford (Heather), Rusty Ford (Chantelle), Jessica Bruyette (Frank), Lynsey Engelhardt (John Allen), Lena Jones, Tyler Jones, Baylen Stapleton (Haley), Keeler Stapleton (Haley), Blythe Stapleton, Korbin Stapleton, Noah Adcock, Baylee Adcock, Ashley Adcock and Gunner Adcock; thirty-one great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Douglas Starkweather and Adam Starkweather, Jr.; one sister: Shelby Jean Ramer; one nephew: Paul Titus; three brothers-in-law: Tom Brockert, Jim Mathias, Russell Frisbee and three infant great grandchildren.
Visitation and funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 4 at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m.
Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m.
Honorary Pallbearers: Chris Ford, Jim W. Stapleton, Carl Ellison, Frank Bruyette, John Allen Engelhardt, Markus Wilhelm.
