Lonzo Moser

Of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas

Lonzo Moser, son of the late Adam Daniel Moser and Uva Magdalene Johnson Moser, was born September 26, 1944 in Mount Pleasant, Arkansas.  He departed this life August 7, 2024 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 79 years, 10 months and 12 days.  In 1964 he was united in marriage to Linda Shaver and together they raised four children.  Lonzo spent his life as a son, brother, uncle, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, provider and friend.  Lonzo worked twenty years at Silica Sand in Guion.  In addition, he was a self-employed logger.

Lonzo is survived by two daughters:  Lisa Malott (Donnie), Angie Arnold (Raymon); one brother Tony Moser (Carla); one sister:  Lorene Barnett all of Mount Pleasant; seven grandchildren:  Ramona Arnold, Amber Washington, Stephen Rolins, Kayla Walters, Britnee Donaldson, Brody Arnold and Trey Allen; 14 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, one son Nathan Moser, one daughter:  Sherry Allen; two sisters:  Darlene Malloy, Irene Hollowell; two nephews:  Ronnie Hollowell, Shannon Malloy and  Chloe, a special friend of many years.

Graveside funeral service will be Friday, August 9 at 2:00 p.m. at Reeves Cemetery near Guion, Arkansas with Rick Engles officiating under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne, Arkansas.
