Lloyd Burnis Lively, 86, of Calico Rock, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2024. He was born on February 14, 1938, in Forty-Four, Arkansas, to the late Calvin Andrew Lively and Lillian Leona Owens. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Carolyn.

Lloyd is survived by his wife of 65 years: Alma Lea Dillard Lively; sisters Francis, Verlene (Carlos), and Judy (Norman); his three sons, Dennis, Gary (Nancy), and Steven (Nesha); and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who loved him dearly.

Lloyd was a proud graduate of the Calico Rock High School Class of '57. He was a faithful member of the Calico Rock First United Methodist Church and a loyal member of the Masonic Lodge. He worked in construction, where he built bridges across the state. He enjoyed working around his home and spending time with his family and friends. He was a kind, generous, and hardworking man, who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Service Information
Visitation will be August 22 from 6:00 – 8:00pm at Eddie's Funeral Home in Calico Rock. There will be a private funeral ceremony on August 23 for the family.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude's hospital for children.
