Lloyd Alan Chandler

Of Iuka, Arkansas

Lloyd Alan Chandler, son of the late Roscoe Chandler and Annes Thompson Chandler, was born February 5, 1950 in Mountain Home, Arkansas.  He departed this life June 28, 2021 at his home in Iuka, Arkansas at the age of 71 years, 4 months and 23 days.  He was united in marriage to Bonnie Jean Moody February 8, 1970 and together they built their life and raised two daughters. Lloyd spent his life as a loving son, brother, nephew, husband, dad, uncle, grandfather, provider, and friend.  Lloyd was an excellent carpenter and spent most of his working years, building and remodeling homes in the area. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to turkey hunt and fish for crappie.   Lloyd was of the Church of Christ faith and an active member of Iuka Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years:  Bonnie Chandler of the home; two daughters and two sons-in-law:  Amy and Richard Branscum of Iuka and Beth and Kevin Wyatt of Pineville; three brothers:  Jerry Chandler and wife Helen of Clarkridge, Bruce Chandler of Mountain Home, and Gary Chandler of Calico Rock; two sisters:  Margaret Smith and husband Ray of West Virginia and Donna Kendall of Clarkridge; four grandchildren:  Bentley Branscum, Billy Branscum, Natalie Wyatt and Chloe Wyatt; his brother and sisters-in-law:  Joyce and Stanley Pitchford of Mountain Home, Pauline and Noel Moore of Mountain Home, and Lewis and Paula Moody of Iuka and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers:  Jackie Graham and Earl Graham; one sister:  Mary Ann Chandler; his mother-in-law:  Elsie Moody; and sister-in-law and husband: June and Josh Thompson.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 1 from 6-8 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.  Funeral service will be Friday, July 2 beginning at 2:00 p.m.  Burial will be at Moody Cemetery in Iuka.
