Linda Marchant Orf

Of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Linda Marchant Orf, daughter of the late Tom Marchant and Juanita Moore Marchant, was born September 20, 1954 in Little Rock, Arkansas.  She departed this life November 12, 2025, in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 71. Linda was a 1972 graduate of Calico Rock High School. She was united in marriage to Donnie Orf June 1, 1973, and together they raised three sons.  Linda spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and friend.  She retired from First National Bank of Izard County after a long career of forty-four years.  She was happy to retire to spend more time with her precious grandkids, family, and hiking and chasing waterfalls with friends.  Linda was of the Baptist faith, being a faithful member of First Baptist Church for over fifty years. She was an active member of the WMU.

Linda is survived by her husband of 52 years:  Donnie Orf of the home; three sons:  Michael Orf (Ashley), Matt Orf (Kelli), Marcus Orf (Abbey); six grandchildren:  Tyler Orf, Chase Orf, Katie Orf, Riley Orf, Hudson Orf, Hadley; one great grandson: Lucas Orf and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; one sister and one grandson:  Lucas Orf.

Visitation and funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church in Calico Rock.  Visitation will be Friday, November 14 from 6-8 p.m.   Funeral service will be Saturday, November 15 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Don Wright and Kevin Bishop officiating.  Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
