Linda Kay Dixon Horton

Of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Linda Kay Dixon Horton, daughter of the late John William Dixon, Sr., and Fayetta Richardson Dixon, was born November 28, 1944 in Calico Rock, Arkansas. She departed this life February 10, 2025 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 80.  She was united in marriage to Ernest Wayne Horton and together they raised two children. Linda spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend.  During her working years, she worked as a beautician.  She was of the Presbyterian faith and a member of Pineville Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Linda is survived by two children:  Lucretia Horton of Calico Rock and Joe Horton and wife Jeana of McKinney, Texas; three grandchildren:  Haley Jo Horton, Austin Tyler Horton, Billie Grace Horton; one great grandson:  Ezra Jay Lee and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and one brother:  John William Dixon, Jr.

Visitation and funeral service will be held Friday, February 14 at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.  Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m.   Burial will follow at Pineville Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Pineville Cemetery Maintenance Fund.
