Lewis Wayne Moody

Of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Lewis Wayne Moody, son of the late Paul Moody and Elsie Havner Moody, was born May 26, 1944 in Calico Rock, Arkansas.  He departed this life February 20, 2026 at his home in Iuka at the age of 81. Lewis spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, provider and friend.  Most of his working years were spent doing maintenance at Baxter Health Care, retiring after 37 years of employment. Lewis was also a farmer, raising cattle. He was united in marriage to Paula Kay Masengill May 26, 1995.

Lewis is survived by his wife of 30 years: Paula Moody of the home; one son:  Shannon Moody and wife Julie of Calico Rock; two step children:  Eric Fox and Monica Wheeler both of Mountain Home; three sisters:  Joyce Pitchford and husband Stanley, Pauline Moore and husband Noel all of Mountain Home, Bonnie Chandler of Calico Rock; two grandchildren:  Riley Moody, Kasey Moody; three step grandchildren:  Conner Fox, Ally Wheeler, Myla Wheeler; eight step great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister:  June Thompson; one granddaughter:  Bryce Ellen Moody.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 24 from 6-8 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.  Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 25 at 10:00 a.m. at Calico Rock Funeral Chapel.  Burial will follow at Moody Cemetery in Iuka.
