Len Sneed

Of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas

Len Sneed, son of the late Thomas Monroe Sneed and Cleffie Lorene Griggs Sneed, was born December 22, 1942 in Paragould, Arkansas.  He departed this life July 6, 2022 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 79 years, 6 months and 15 days.  Len spent his life as a loving son, brother, uncle and friend.  His working years were spent helping out on the family farm.  He enjoyed driving the tractor, the old Ford truck and working on the mowers.  He was of the Baptist faith and attended Mount Pleasant Southern Baptist Church.

Len is survived by one brother:  Danny Ray Sneed and wife Kim of Monette; two sisters:  Phyllis Brooks and husband Sonny of Melbourne and Peggy Chandler and husband Bill of Cushman; two sisters-in-law:  Donna Sneed of Melbourne and Gloria of Shelton, Washington; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister:  Neva Faye Decker; one brother:  Jerry Dewayne Sneed and a half-brother:  Jimmy Ragsdale.

Visitation will be Saturday July 9, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.  Funeral service will be Sunday, July 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Howard Memorial Funeral Chapel in Melbourne with Elvis Sneathern officiating.  Burial will be at Reeves Cemetery.
