Larry Wayne Sartin
of Melbourne, Arkansas

Larry Wayne Sartin, son of Zena Ray Colter and the late Ralph Timothy Sartin, was born February 2, 1953 in Batesville, Arkansas. He departed this life January 24, 2021 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 67 years, 11 months and 22 days. He was united in marriage to Darlene Stroud March 26, 1971 in Sage, Arkansas and together they raised one son. Larry spent most of his working years as a truck driver and diesel mechanic. Larry also worked at Century Flooring. He spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, provider and friend. He was anticipating the birth of his first great grandchild. Larry enjoyed playing music. He was of the Baptist faith.

Larry is survived by his wife of 49 years: Darlene Sartin of the home; one son: Dennis Sartin of Melbourne; his mother: Zena Ray Sartin of Melbourne; one sister and brother-in-law: Carolyn and Henry Pate of Melbourne; three granddaughters: Brooke Kimble and husband Rickey of Melbourne, Amy Sartin of Mont Belvieu, Texas and Hadli Sartin of Melbourne and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 27 from 6-8 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Graveside funeral service will be Thursday, January 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Combs Cemetery.
