Lana Diana Smith Lemon

Of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Lana Diana Smith Lemon departed this life peacefully at her home in Calico Rock, Arkansas on March 28, 2025.  She was born in Montrose, Michigan to parents Vivian Smith and Dorothy Diffin-Savage on September 9, 1941.  Lana spent the early years of her life in Michigan, up until 1993, when she and David were united in marriage on April 23, 1994.The spent the 90's building their dream home.  Lana loved the silence of the woods of Arkansas, but a large part of her missed a faster paced life.  She made it her mission to bring her own brand of fashion to everybody she came into contact with.  Her talents as a seamstress were incredible.  She loved to gift pieces that she crafted to friends.  Her daughter best described Lana as boisterous, a seeker of knowledge, an adventurist, and all-around unforgettable person.

Lana leaves to mourn her passing; her beloved husband of 30 years: David Lemon of Calico Rock; one daughter: Brandy Wykes and husband Peter Berberian of New York City, New York; three sons:  Brad and wife Monica Ayres of New Lothrop, Michigan, Jon Lemon and wife Elizabeth of Calico Rock and Matthew Lemon and Taby Grigg of Calico Rock; two sisters:  Wanda Smith-Winters and Vonda Smith-Grohoski; five grandchildren:  Ayden Owens, Kinadee Lemon, Addisyn Lemon, Benton Owens and Caleb Lemon; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends.

Private memorial service will be held at a later date.
