Kenneth L. Kent

Of Melbourne, Arkansas

Kenneth L. Kent, son of the late J. B. Kent and Elizabeth Fuller Kent, was born August 1, 1958 in Morrilton, Arkansas.  He departed this life May 17, 2024 in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 65 years, 9 months and 16 days.  Kenny spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, provider and friend.  He spent most of his working years in the construction business.  He enjoyed outdoor get togethers at the creek and fishing.  Most of his relaxation and comfort came from riding his motorcycle.

Kenny is survived by two sons:  Kenneth Jason Kent and Joshua Kent; one daughter:  Jennifer Kent Moss; two brothers:  Michael David Kent and John Fuller Kent; one sister:  Judith Ann Kent; his special friend:  Raegan Martin and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother:  Malcom Dean Kent.

Graveside funeral service will be Monday, May 20 at 2:00 p.m. at New Liberty Cemetery with Dennis Harmon and J. D. Crider officiating under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.

Pallbearers:   Rocky Campbell, Bobby Langston, J. D. Crider, Cleve Weaver, James Sitton, Jerry Blankenship.

Honorary Pallbearers:  Trey Lamb and Carol Wood Caraway.
