Judith Colleen Cox Sandusky
of Calico Rock, Arkansas
Judith Colleen Cox Sandusky, daughter of Betty Carolyn Mitchell Cox and the late Spurgeon Oneal Cox, was born January 30, 1959 in Memphis, Tennessee. She departed this life October 7, 2018 in Birmingham, Alabama at the age of 59 years, 8 months and 7 days. She was united in marriage to Louis Andrew Sandusky March 12, 1981 in Memphis, Tennessee and together they raised three daughters. Judith spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, homemaker and friend. She was of the Assembly of God faith and a member of New Life Assembly of God Church in Calico Rock.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years: Andy Sandusky of the home; three daughters: Rebecca Colleen Bear of Dickson, Tennessee, Katie Yvonne Curtis and husband Matthew of Dickson, Tennessee and Lindsay Brooke Sandusky of Calico Rock; her mother: Betty Cox of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; three brothers: Richard Cox of Mississippi, Lindsey Cox and wife Vickey of Missouri, Patrick Cox and wife Robin of Helena, Alabama; one sister: Sharon Adair and husband Darrell of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; six grandchildren: Joshua Morton, Anna Bear, Haylee Bear, Jacob Bear, Ginger Brooke Curtis, Summer Breeze Curtis; several beautiful nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her father; one sister: Carolyn Free; two brothers: Monty Cox, Brian Cox and one grandson: Marvin Andrew Morton.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 11 from 6- 8 p.m. at Calico Rock First Baptist Church. Funeral service will be Friday, October 12 at 1:00 p.m. at Calico Rock First Baptist Church with Harry Hunter and Matthew Curtis officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
