Joyce Ann Nordrum Cox

Of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Joyce Ann Nordrum Cox, daughter of the late Harold Nordrum and Lucille Shawgo Nordrum, was born December 19, 1944, in Bowling Green, Kentucky.  She departed this life February 8, 2026 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 81.  Joyce was united in marriage to Arlin Cox August 10, 1962 and together they raised three children.  She spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend.  Most of her working years were spent owing and operating Calico Rock Florist.  She was of the Church of Christ faith and attended Calico Rock Church of Christ.

Joyce is survived by three children:  Lelan Cox and wife Leigh Ann of Optimus, Kevin Cox and wife Janet of Pineville, Angie Teegarden and husband Jeff of Norfork; six grandchildren:  Sammie (Logan) Holladay of Violet Hill, Jesse Cox of Pineville, Taylor (Brian) Sanders of Calico Rock, Coburn (Katie) Cox of Calico Rock, Lindsay (Cameron) Dwyer of Jordan, Jordan Teegarden of Norfork; eleven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five siblings:  Peggy Lester, Joe Nordrum, John Nordrum, Paul Nordrum, Pauline Hazzlet.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 12 at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock from 6-8 pm .
