Joshua Eugene Dailey
Of Calico Rock, Arkansas
Joshua Eugene Dailey, son of Brenda Hines Dailey and the late Jeffrey Eugene Dailey, Sr., was born March 30, 1984 in Fairbury, Illinois. He departed this life November 29, 2024 at his home in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 40. After high school, Joshua went on to attend and graduate from NASCAR Technical Institute in Mooresville, North Carolina, where he graduated top of his class. Turns out when he was studying things he liked he was really good at it, he just didn't apply that same love to high school. He spent his life as a son, brother, uncle, father and friend. His friendship and love had no bounds, he would go to the ends of the earth for those he loved. Joshua attended Pleasant Valley Community Church.
He is survived by two daughters: Katelyn and Gracelyn Dailey of Yellville; his mother: Brenda Dailey of Calico Rock; two sisters: Jennifer Burch and husband Nathan of Melbourne and Jamie Whiteaker and husband Jessie of Calico Rock; one brother: Jeffrey Dailey and Amy of Mountain Home; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; Jeffrey Dailey Sr, three uncles: Terry Dailey, Rick Dailey; Larry Dailey one aunt: Debra Ortega; his maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, December 4 beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Pleasant Valley Community Church with Monte Neal officiating. Graveside funeral service will follow at Salem City Cemetery, 429 S. Main Street, Salem, Arkansas, beginning at 12:00 p.m. under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
Pallbearers: Aaron Pettit, Jason Harber, Lance Harber, Josh Thompson, Jake Campbell, Brian Butts.
Honorary Pallbearers: Chris Dailey, Boyd Dailey, Kamren Harber, Dennis Harber, Ewell Neal, Rowland Mitchell, Kevin Horton, Chris Curtis.
