Joe Lee Grigg
of Upland, Nebraska
Joe Lee Grigg, son of the late Joseph Grigg and Lorine Gray Grigg, was born February 5, 1947 in Salesville, Arkansas. He departed this life May 23, 2018 in Hastings, Nebraska at the age of 71 years, 3 months and 18 days. Joe spent his life as a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, provider and friend. His working years were spent working in residential construction. He hung drywall and operated heavy equipment.  Joe loved to play the guitar and played music most of his life.  He was of the Christian faith.

Joe is survived by two sons: Eddy Joe Grigg and Jerry Lee Grigg both of Upland, Nebraska; three daughters: Misty Griffin of Stephenville, Texas and Tiffnay Adams of Sioux City, Iowa, Kimberly Miller of Stephenville, Texas; six brothers: Iry Grigg and wife Denice of Bladen, Nebraska, Dan Grigg of Norfork, Zane Grigg and wife Sharon of Campbell, Nebraska, Rickey Grigg and wife Kathie of Dolph, Jody and Sandy Grigg of Beatrice, Nebraska and Eddy Grigg and wife Rita of Fremont, Nebraska; six sisters: Judy Dockins and husband Ronnie of Dolph, Glenda Jelinek and husband Ken of Alliance, Nebraska
Donna Wawrzyniak and husband Richard of St. Claire Shores, Michigan, Frances Ferrell and husband Lynn of Mountain Home, Patricia Riley and husband Deryl of Arapahoe, Nebraska and Marty Freeman of Norfork; grandchildren: Michelle Grigg, Brandon Grigg, Zane Adams, Mary Adams, Anabelle Adams, Matt Cole, Gaylen Griffin, Riley Griffin, James Brooks, Derek Perkins ; great grandchildren: Eli Woodke and Zavor Woodke and a host of other relatives and many good friends. Joe was preceded in death by his parents; one nephew: Shawn Grigg; one niece: Christina Grigg; one great nephew: Jamis Dockins.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Burial will be at Moody Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Clayton Grigg, Blake Dockins, Jeremy Grigg, Heath Freeman, Braxton Ferrell and Jeffery Grigg.
