Joanna Marie Herron

Of Franklin, Arkansas

Joanna Marie Herron, daughter of Frank Herron and Susie Blower Herron, was born July 14, 1974 in Tucson, Arizona. She departed this life April 24, 2022 at her home in Franklin, Arkansas at the age of 47 years, 9 months and 10 days after a courageous battle with liver cancer. She lived her life as a blessed mother, cherished sister, kind aunt, caring Nana, homemaker and friend.  Before her illness, she was a commercial truck driver. To know her is to love her, she knew no stranger. As a mother, she was caring, kind, and hardworking. She loved being around her family and friends. She will be greatly missed. Joanna truly lived life to the fullest. We will think about her often, talk about her still, goodbyes are not forever, it simply means I'll miss you until we meet again. You've only left this world not our hearts.

Joanna is survived by one son:  Brayden Roddy of Franklin; two daughters:  Haley Roddy of Manila and Bailey Roddy of Horseshoe Bend; her parents:  Frank and Susie Herron of Franklin; one sister:  Marci Smith of Brockwell; two grandchildren:  Aubryee and Declan Dew of Manila; her paternal grandmother:  Euna Mae Herron of Franklin; two nephews:  Wyatt and Easton Smith of Brockwell and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents:  Ted and Jackie Blower and her paternal grandfather: Leroy Herron.

Memorial service will be Tuesday, April 26 at 2:00 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne, Arkansas with Lonnie Bailey officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the cancer charity of choice.
