Jimmie Hale Moody, 70, of Dolph, AR, passed away peacefully in his home January 24th, 2022, after a long hard fight with cancer.
Jimmie was born on July 16, 1951 to Hale and Billie Moody in Mountain Home, AR. Jimmie joined the First Baptist Church of Goddard, Kansas on December 27, 1959. He graduated from Goddard High School and began a lifelong career in carpentry. He loved to fish, hunt, cook, and spend time with people whom he loved. In 2018, he retired and spent his time remodeling his grandparents house in Dolph. He will be extremely missed by all who knew him.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his son, Jesse Hale Moody; his father, Hale Jean Moody; his sister, Gwenda Sue Sample; and his nephew, Jeremy Lee Sample.
Jimmie is survived by his love, Beverly Dixon and her family; his four children, Betsy (Austen) Roach, Caroline Stegman, Jake (Kyra) Moody, and Elisha Roberts; his ten grandchildren, Aspen Roach, Berkeley Roach, Camilla Roach, Presley Myers, Huxley Stegman, Landon Henke, Weston Moody, Isaac Briggs, Peyton Roberts, and Ashlynn Roberts; his mother Billie Moody; his sister Paula (Ronnie) Murphree; his niece, Joni (Jason) Devors; his four great-nephews, Zach Devors, Gary Sample, Bobby Sample, and Waylon Sample; numerous cousins, many friends, and other loved ones.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 6 pm on February 5 th , 2022 at Valley Center Community Center, 314 E. Clay, Valley Center, KS 67147.
