Jesse Gene Watson

of Pineville, Arkansas

Jesse Gene Watson, son of the late T. J. "Shorty" and Rudean Brown Watson, was born March 7, 1941 in Pineville, Arkansas. He departed this life December 29, 2019 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 78 years, 9 months and 22 days. He spent his life as a loving son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. For 45 years he owned and operated Watson Brothers Station in Pineville.

He leaves to cherish his memories two nieces: Janet Cox and husband Kevin and Julie Lewis and husband Bub all of Pineville; one sister-in-law: Carolyn Watson of Pineville; two great nieces: Kayla DeLoach (Damian) of Batesville, Sammie Holladay (Logan) of Violet Hill; two great nephews: Jesse Cox of Pineville and Tyler Lewis (Savannah) of Ida, Arkansas; 10 great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Sammy H Watson and one nephew: Sammy Joe Watson.

Graveside funeral service will be Tuesday, December 31 at 1:00 p.m. at Pineville Cemetery with Logan Holladay officiating.

Pallbearers: Kevin Cox, Jesse Cox, Damian DeLoach, Bub Lewis, Tyler Lewis, Lyle Wilson.
