Jerry Lynn Springer

Of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Jerry Lynn Springer, son of the late Earnest Buel Springer and Alva Lily Ray Springer, was born March 28, 1973 in Missouri.  He departed this life May 6, 2024 at this home in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 51 years, 1 month and 8 days.  Jerry spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, provider and friend.  Most of his working years were spent doing construction or working factory positions at the shirt factory or the power plant.  Jerry liked to spend time outdoors hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family and friends and would entertain them with by telling big stories and tall tales.

Jerry is survived by one daughter:  Heather Whitson and husband Bobby of Batesville; one son:  Chris Springer of Batesville; two brothers:  Johnny Russell of Batesville and Billy Springer of Fayetteville; one sister:  Pam Cordrey of Benton; two grandchildren:  Aiden Springer and Alana Springer; sister-in-law:  Lisa Springer of Lake City, Arkansas; nephew:  Bradley Brock of Cushman and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one son:  Cody Springer; one brother:  Earnest Springer; one sister:  Philis Shaw and one nephew:  Danny Brock.
