Jerry Theodore Moody

of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Jerry Theodore Moody, son of the late Authur Theodore Moody and Dola Louise Hearn Moody, was born September 25, 1948 in Senath, Missouri. He departed this life July 11, 2018 in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 69 years, 9 months and 13 days. He was united in marriage to Patsy Cox February 14, 1997. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Adams Masonic Lodge 164 in Norfork and the Calico Rock VFW. Jerry was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years: Patsy Moody of the home; two stepsons: James Hurst and Samuel Hurst and wife Mary all of Calico Rock; one brother: Larry Moody and wife Veronica of Jordan; two sisters: Delsie Mellon and Faye Dockins both of Springdale; niece; Jennifer Moody of Mountain Home and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers: Howard Moody, Darrell Moody, Junior Moody, Earl Moody, J. W. Moody, Otis Moody, Dwayne Moody; one sister: Helen Moody and one nephew: Larry Moody.

Graveside funeral service with Masonic Honors will be Saturday, July 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Crossroads Cemetery at Wises Chapel under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.

Pallbearers: Lyle Wilson, Frank Tilley, Raymond Moody, Sam Hurst, Dwight Dockins and Bob Cox.

Honorary Pallbearers: Larry Moody, Robert Dale Skidmore, Earl Olsen, Leroy Farrier and Don Nerge.
