Jerry Lynn Jeffery

Of Mount Olive, Arkansas

Jerry Lynn Jeffery, son of the late Forrest G. Jeffery and Jessamine Hanks Jeffery, was born June 1, 1940 in Mount Olive, Arkansas.  He departed this life April 11, 2025 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 84. After graduating from high school, he attended Arkansas College on a basketball scholarship. He was united in marriage to Barbara Jean Loranger September 23, 1961.  Jerry spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, provider and friend.  Most of his working years were spent at White Rodgers in Batesville, retiring after 40 years of employment. Jerry was a member of the Mount Olive Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by one daughter:  Lynn Pollock of Mount Olive; one sister:  Mary June Arnold of Mountain Home; two grandsons:  Jerry Douglas Pollock of Fayetteville and Jacob Pollock of Mount Olive and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; six siblings:  Helen Wilson, Buddy Jeffery, Robert Jeffery, Horace Jeffery, Mildred Jeffries, and Howard Jeffery; two infant children:  Lionel James Jeffery ad Vickie Lee Jeffery.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
