Jerry Lynn Dockins
Of Dolph, Arkansas

Jerry Lynn Dockins "Doc", son of the late Clifford "Dee" Dockins and Retha Williams Dockins, was born September 25, 1949 in Dolph, Arkansas.  He departed this life June 15, 2023 at the age of 73 years, 8 months and 21 days. Jerry was united in marriage to Linda Roush June 20, 1971 and together they raised three children.  Jerry spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, provider and friend. He was a follower of Jesus Christ. Most of his working years were spent being employed at Aeroquip in Mountain Home.
Jerry had a love for baseball and attended Friends University on a baseball scholarship. He assisted the Calico Rock Pirates Baseball team in 1994 & 1995 to advance to the State Tournament. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandkids.
Jerry is survived by one son:  Robbie Dockins and wife Lindsay of Batesville; two daughters:  Lori Owens and husband Mark of Batesville and Jennette Hiles and husband Rick of Wideman; two sisters:  Shirley Harris of Wichita, Kansas and Gail Sanders and husband Jerry of Farmington; seven grandchildren:  Preston Dockins, Emma Dockins, Asher Dockins, Jude Dockins, Megan Hiles, Morgan Hiles, Hanna Owens and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

Graveside funeral service will be Monday, June 19 at 2:00 p.m. at Trimble Campground Cemetery in Dolph with Jamey Cowgill officiating.

Pallbearers:  Mark Owens, Rick Hiles, Preston Dockins, Morgan Hiles, Jerry Sanders and Rick Sanders.
