Jeremy Lee Sample, 47, died September 1, 2021

Jeremy Lee Sample, 47, of Dolph departed this life on Wednesday, September 1 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

He was born August 9, 1974 in Wichita, Kansas. The son of the late Gary and Gwenda Sample. He attended grade school in Tulsa, Oklahoma, High School Class 1992 of Calico Rock, Arkansas and ASU of Conway, Arkansas.

Jeremy loved the outdoors and taking his family camping. From a very young age he enjoyed working on motorcycles and sport cars which included the excitement of riding them and doing tricks. He received his artistic talent from his mother. He loved to draw with vivid colors and was especially good at calligraphy.

On October 24, 1998 he married Suzette Staggs and from this marriage came three boys. Gary, Bobby, and Waylon. He loved his boys more than life itself and was the proudest dad ever.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gary and Gwenda Sample. His Sample Grandparents and Grandpa Hale Moody. He is survived by his three sons: Gary Sample, Bobby Sample and Waylon Sample of Dolph. His grandmother Billie Moody of Dolph, Uncle Jimmie Moody of Dolph, Aunt Paula Murphree (Ronnie) of Dolph, Cousins: Joni (Jason) Devors and Zachary Devors of Mountain Home, Betsy (Austin) Roach and girls of Park City, Kansas, Carolyn Stegman and family also of Park City, Kansas and Jake Moody and family of Wichita, Kansas. His former wife, Suzette Hendrix and her daughter Kimber of Pineville, Arkansas and brother in laws Roy and Robert Staggs of Calico Rock, Arkansas.

Visitation and funeral service will be at Trimble Campground Cemetery, Dolph, Arkansas on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Visitation at 10:00 a.m. and Service at 11:00 a.m. Both will be held at the cemetery.

Pallbearers: Jason Devors, Zach Devors, Chris Curtis, Brad Skidmore, Billy Bob Franks and Brandon Hall.

Honorary Pallbearers: Devin Hicks, Warren Sanders and Bobby Lindsey.

Family requested that everyone wear a mask and social distance.
