Jefferson Davis Cantrell

of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Jefferson Davis Cantrell son of Lavonne McNeill Cantrell and the late Billy Von Cantrell, was born November 17, 1966 in Calico Rock, Arkansas. He departed this life April 29, 2019 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 52 years, 5 months and 12 days. Davis spent his life as a loving son, brother, father, husband, uncle, grandfather and friend. He was a 1985 graduate of Calico Rock High School. Most of his working years were spent at Asphlundh Tree Service and working as a Boilermaker. He was a drummer for the Runaway band. Davis was of the Baptist faith and a member of Arbanna Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughter: Maegan Cantrell of Conway; his mother: Lavonne Cantrell of Calico Rock; two sisters and two brothers-in-law: Tammy and Daniel Stephen of Pineville and Carol Lee and Uli Reuther of Mountain View; two grandchildren: Daxton Davis Cantrell and Aimsly Victoria Staggs; his former wife: Tammy Cantrell of Marshall; four nieces and nephews: Keshi Cruz, Ashley Jones, Billie Jo Wolford, Daniel Stephen, Jr. and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his father; his maternal grandparents: Talmage and Ruby McNeill and his paternal grandparents: W. D. Cantrell and Esther Lee Cantrell.

Visitation and graveside funeral service will be Wednesday, May 1. Visitation will be at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock from 10-11 a.m. Graveside funeral service will began at 11:00 a.m. at Spring Creek Cemetery with Jim Chandler and Dave Williamson officiating.
