Jean Carlean Galloway

Of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Jean Carlean Galloway, daughter of the late William Joseph Monteith and Chlorine Hill Monteith, was born January 21, 1942 in Presidio, Texas. She departed this life August 7, 2020 in Gassville, Arkansas at the age of 78 years, 6 months and 17 days. She was united in marriage to Norman Eugene Galloway August 7, 1992. Jean spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years: Norman Eugene Galloway; two sons: Tony Bell and wife Rebecca of Optimus and Wsley Galloway and wife Charlotte of Mountain Home; two daughters: Carlean Tunnicliff and husband Paul of Calico Rock and Elouise Hood of Mississippi; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sons: Scott Galloway and Cody Galloway.

Visitation and graveside funeral service will be Tuesday, August 11 at Optimus Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Graveside funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Donnie Speak officiating, under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
