Janet Marie
Lind Hardin
May 4, 1961 — Jun 29, 2021
Janet Marie Lind (Hardin) was born on May 4, 1961 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. At the age of 60 she departed this world on June 29, of 2021 in the home of her daughter Maria and son-in-law Carlos in Melbourne, Arkansas.
She is preceded by her mother and father, Charles Lavern Lind and Ione Ruth Frisbie (Lind), and her daughter Megan Marie Winter. She is survived by her daughter: Maria (Carlos) Lind-Alvarez; Two sons: Galen Winter, Gavin (Angelia) Winter; Four Brothers: Mark (Lola) Lind, Frankie (Stacey) Lind, Michael (Trina) Lind, Mitchell "Seven" (Emily) Lind; Two Sisters: Kimberley Lind (Paul) Dumpprope and Waneta Jo Lind (Ron) Wanous. Seven grandchildren: Christina, Diana, Ryan, Carlos, Carlos Jr, Kadence, and Lily; one great grandchild: Axel.
During her life, she had a variety of career experiences from being an LPN nurse in long-term care, to driving an 18-wheeler over the road from coast to coast seeing many places and all lower 48 states with a CB handle of "Cherokee Lady", and last being a compassionate caregiver (Home Health Aide) taking care of others. She always loved a great adventure whether it was riding on roller coaster rides at amusement parks with her daughter and grandchildren or skydiving with both of her sons. Most times she spent at home with her sidekick "Tinkerbell", a teacup chihuahua and reading her favorite books or watching 'NCIS'. When she wasn't busy working, she loved spending quality time with her family and friends.
You could always catch her barefoot dancing with her grandchildren or tinkerbell when she was listening to her rhythm and blues, especially Otis Redding. She had such a wild spirit as well as being so pure and filled with integrity. Those that knew her have a piece of her with them because she had that effect on individuals. She was so joyful and chipper and absolutely nothing could ruin her day. As a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, Coworker, and best friend she will forever be adored and cherished. She wasn't just a friend, but a best friend because she happened to be that amazing. Pure souls like hers are a rarity and those that were fortunate enough to journey with her were blessed indeed. She was trustworthy, compassionate, sincere, and of course very empathic.
We will fulfill your duties of touching the hearts and minds of others as you did. Rest in Peace
Mom, we love and miss you dearly. We hope you're having fun dancing in heaven.
