Janet Elene Daggett, daughter of the late Charles Calvert and Theda Keller Calvert, was born June 2, 1952 in Paw Paw, Michigan. She departed this life August 16, 2019 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 67 years, 2 months and 14 days. Janet was married twice in her life. Her fist husband was Kenneth Smith, Sr the second was Cordie Daggett. Janet spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. During her working years, she was employed at Pioneer Nursing and Baxter Lab. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Trimble Campground Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Kenny and Connie Smith of Newburg; two daughters and two sons-in-law: Pepsie and Jerry Dobyns of Kinmundy, Illinois and Jo and Tommy Hargett of Violet Hill; one sister: Pauline Dailey of Anderson, Indiana; eight grandchildren: Stacee Hargett, Ana Zirkle (Matthew), Jennifer Rose Morgan (Robbie), Amber Robinson, Amanda Cantrell, B. J. Cantrell, Candice Cantrell and Marcus Alvarado (Hannah); thirty great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; four brothers: Charlie Calvert, Paul Calvert, Larry Calvert, Danny Fox.

Memorial service will be Saturday, August 24 at 2:00 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne with Rick Burke officiating.
