James Gauge Stewart

Of Calico Rock, Arkansas

James Gauge Stewart, son of James Adam Stewart and Bethany Lynn Mooney Stewart, was born April 22, 2002 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He departed this life March 31, 2020 at his home in Calico Rock at the age of 17 years, 11 months and 9 days. Gauge spent his life as a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. At the time of his death, he was finishing his GED and anticipating working on the road as a boilermaker.

He is survived by his parents: Adam and Bethany Stewart of the home; two sisters: Dakota Stewart and Piper Stewart of the home; paternal great grandmothers: Barbara Stewart of Claremore, Oklahoma and Gladys Waithe of Calico Rock; paternal grandmother: Beverly Stewart of Calico Rock; paternal aunt and uncles: Kerri Killian (Mark) of Culp, Paul Hale of Pineville, Jimmy Stewart of Salem, Eric Stewart of Calico Rock; his maternal aunt and uncle: Melinda and Stewart Pringle of Willow Springs, Missouri; numerous cousins, great aunts and uncles and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandfathers: Louie Stewart and Barry Waithe; paternal grandfather: James Stewart; maternal great grandparents: Vernard and Dellar Sanders and Dessie Carroll; maternal grandparents: Ronnie and Linda Mooney and maternal uncle: Gregory Lynn.

Graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, April 2 at Wayland Arbor Cemetery with Beth Kratochvil officiating. There will be a public memorial service at a later date.
