James Teo Dale

of Melbourne, Arkansas

James Teo Dale, son of the late Everett Dale and Frances Steward Dale, was born June 21, 1937 in Cushman, Arkansas. He departed this life June 3, 2026 at his home in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 88.  Teo proudly served in the United States Navy.  He was united in marriage to Barbara Jean Wolford December 10, 1958 in Buckeye, Arizona.  Most of his working years were spent at Argos Audio Products, retiring after 35 years of employment.  He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant.

Teo is survived by four children:  Silas "Keith" Ogilvie (Alison) of Melbourne, Barbara "Polly" Arlene Bledsoe (Jim) of Union, Illinois, Jimmy Brian Dale of Melbourne, Douglas "Todd" Dale (Tresa) of Machesney Park, Illinois; one brother:  Darrell Dale (Teresa) of Cushman, Wilma Russell (Freddy) of Batesville; five grandchildren:  Aleisha Hansen, Andrea Ogilvie, Kelsey-Ann Melser (Brian), Ashleigh Dale-Choe (Josh), Eli Dale; seven grandchildren:  Aiden Rose Ogilvie, Alyssa Fairve, Lorelai Hansen, Alanna Ogilvie, Aubrey Ogilvie, Addyson Ogilvie, Vincent Hansen; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; four brothers:  Burton Dale, Gerald Dale, David Dale, Danny Dale; one sister:  Norma Cox.

Visitation and funeral service will be Monday, June 8 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant with John Higgins officiating.  Burial with Navy Funeral Honors will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Cushman.

Pallbearers:  Eli Dale, Aden Rose, Todd Dale, Keith Oglivie, Brian Dale and Darrell Dale.
