James Frank Bohrn, Sr.

Of Calico Rock, Arkansas

James Frank Bohrn, Sr., son of Clifford Bohrn, was born February 3, 1944 in Twin Falls, Idaho. He departed this life November 12, 2023 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 79 years, 9 months and 9 days.  James was united in marriage to Patsy Lou Hatfield December 18, 1970 in Chillicothe, Missouri and together they raised a blended family.  James spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, provider and friend. Most of his working years were spent as a welder and truck driver.  James loved the outdoors and could be found most days down at the river fishing.  He was of the Assembly of God faith.

James is survived by his wife of 52 years:  Patsy Bohrn of the home; three sons:  Wesley Bohrn of Kansas City, Missouri, Doug Bohrn of Kansas City, Kansas, James Bohrn, Jr. of Mountain Home; two daughters:  Stacy Lindsey and husband Josh of Clarkridge and Debra Yowell and Freddy Gann of Ash Flat; three sisters:  Donnetta Andrews of Warsaw, Missouri, Sharon Ferrell of Pomana, Kansas and Jennifer Young of Basehor, Kansas; twenty-two grandchildren:  Benjamin Lindsey, Jacob Lindsey, Kayla Lindsey, Tiffany Clark, Tasha Camp, Craig Yowell, Amanda Hatfield, Amy Hatfield, Amber Hatfield, Justin Hatfield, Zachary Pulley, Tommy Bohrn, Thomasina Keeney, Danny Hawthorn, Brian McClehanan, Brooke Stewart, Andrew Bohrn, Haylee Davis, Aaron  "AJ" Bohrn, Holly Bailey, Kristen Bohrn and Dougie Bohrn; forty-seven great grandchildren and a host of other relative and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one son:  Rodney Hatfield.

Visitation and funeral service will be Saturday, November 18 at Little Country Church, 130 Fellowship Drive, Calico Rock, Arkansas 72519.  Visitation will be from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m.  Funeral service begins at 1:00 p.m. with Danny Bishop officiating.  Burial will follow at Burnt School House Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.

Pallbearers:  Josh Lindsey, Jacob Lindsey, Benjamin Lindsey, Craig Yowell, Hunter Lindsey, Logan Lindsey.

Honorary Pallbearers:  Freddy Gann, Wesley Bohrn and Doug Bohrn.
