Jacqueline Ann Anderson Thornley

Of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Jacqueline Ann Anderson Thornley, daughter of the late James Anderson and Pauline Ligon Anderson, was born August 8, 1943, in Healdton, Oklahoma. She departed this life on July 12, 2023, in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 79 years, 11 months, and 4 days. Jacqueline spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, homemaker, and friend. Most of her working years were spent in Texas in the banking industry. After retiring from banking, she went on to open an antique shop. She was united in marriage to Eddie Thornley on October 3, 2001, in Calico Rock. She attended Grace Fellowship Church in Dolph.

Jacqueline is survived by her husband of 21 years: Eddie Thornley of the home; four daughters:  Dee Ann Rogers and husband W. Yandell of Kemah, Texas, Genia Pauline Scarberry of Mountain Home, Deborah Lynn Dickerson and husband Seth of Calico Rock and Kimberly Scarberry of Mountain View; one step son: Shawn Thornley of Batesville; one sister: Aurora Brooks of Nacogdoches, Texas; two step siblings: James Anderson and Katie Anderson of Georgia; grandchildren: Brooke Scott, Wiley Rogers, Zane Rogers, Megan Dickerson, Jonathan Scott, Rhiannon Bieler, William Harris, Syriniti Lancaster, Michael Harrison, Michelle Harrison, Matthew Harrison, Caitlyn Morris, Cynthia Morris, Austin Scarberry; great grandchildren: Colt Harrison, Jackson Jett, River Jordan Jett, Astrid Lancaster, Araina Lancaster and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The Graveside funeral service will be Thursday, July 13 at 10:00 a.m. at Spring Creek Cemetery with Andy Riley officiating under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
